SYSTEM WARRANTY
In addition to and independent of the product warranties offered by the component manufacturers used in your solar power installation, Goal Solar offers a full 10-year “System Warranty."
STARTING POINT:
According to CES, period of 10 years warranty commencing on the date the System is installed.
WHAT IT DEFINES:
This includes all associated costs for component repair, component replacement, and any fault or defect with the supplied goods or the workmanship of the installation.
- Something done by you or someone else, and not us or our contractors.
- Something beyond human control that occurred after installation, e.g., an extreme weather event (we recommend that you have your solar system covered under a building insurance policy to cover such events).
- Errors or damage brought on by the electrical grid.
- The System being misused, abused, neglected or damaged after installation
- The System being repaired, modified, reinstalled or repositioned by anyone other than a service technician approved by us in writing.
- Failure to follow operating instructions.
- Failure to follow the manufacturer's warranty requirements for routine maintenance.
- Losses that are incidental or consequential to a flaw or defect.
- If the customer hires a technician who is not qualified, skilled, trained, or experienced to service the system.
WHAT HAPPENS TEN YEARS LATER:
You can still rely on the product warranties provided by the manufacturers of the components supplied as part of the system in the event of a flaw or defect (for example, the 25 year performance warranty associated with Solar Panels). from the appropriate producer.
